Another Problematic Windows 10 Patch

Windows 10 update KB4535996, which is an optional update, is yet another patch from Microsoft that was released seemingly untested and is wreaking havoc on people’s PCs. Installing this patch may cause the following problems:

  • System becomes unbootable
  • Boot problems and crashes
  • Blue Screen of Death
  • System slowdowns
  • Audio issues

My previous advice stands: DO NOT accept any Windows updates from Microsoft for the foreseeable future – until they get their act together and release a stable patch. See my previous post about how to pause Windows updates.
